The Northwest Regional Corrections Center announced the arrest of the following – Douglas Loren Markel, 43 of Saint Thomas, for DUI fourth-degree, driving while impaired. Heidi Suzanne Nelson, 43 of Crookston, for contempt of court, willful disobedience to court mandate.

LEVEL 3 SEX OFFENDER WILL BE MOVING TO CROOKSTON AUGUST 12

The Crookston Police Department is alerting residents of the City of Crookston and the surrounding area that a level three risk sex offender Jeremy Spencer Woolsey, 29 years of age, will be released on Thursday, August 12 and he plans to reside in Crookston in the vicinity of University Drive North and Golf Terrace Drive.

CROOKSTON CITY COUNCIL APPROVES TO WORK WITH NEW FLYER ON EXPANSION GRANT

Margaret Genevieve Myrold Calender- Obit

At the age of 101, Margaret was surrounded by her daughters when she passed away Wednesday, August 4, 2021, at Valley Senior Living, Grand Forks, North Dakota. Margaret Genevieve Hellerud was born in Twin Valley, Minnesota, on December 25, 1919, to John and Gina (Anderson) Hellerud.  She was baptized and confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church
