PIRATE GIRLS TRACK EARNS WILD CARD BID TO STATE TRUE TEAM

The Crookston Pirate Girls Track team was one of the four teams to earn a wild card and will be one of the 12 teams to compete at the Minnesota Track and Field Coaches Association True Team meet at Stillwater High School on Saturday, May 18.  The Class A meet will begin at 10:00 a.m.

PIRATE GIRLS GOLF FINISHES SIXTH PLACE AT STAPLES INVITE

The Crookston Pirate Girls Golf team finished sixth place at the 13 team Staples-Motley Invite played at par 72 Vintage Golf Course near Staples.  Crookston shot a 385 and Alexandria won the invite with a 355, five strokes better than Bemidji.  “It was a tough course with a lot of penalties,” said Pirate Coach Jeff
