The Crookston City Council will be Monday at 7:00 p.m. in the council chambers at city hall. There will be three proclamations, the first declaring 2019 “The Sisters of Saint Benedict’s 100 Year Centennial”, the second declaring May “Community Action Month”, and the third declaring May 12-18 “RiverView Health Week”.
The consent agenda includes approving the April 22 meeting minutes, bills and disbursements for $479,369.13, and resolutions calling for a public hearing to amend City Code Chapter 152 “Zoning” by adding the Gateway Overlay District, approving 2019 liquor license for El Gordito Market, to executive Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) Airport Maintenance and Operation Grant Contract, to accept bid and award 2019 street improvements, to enter into a agreement with MnDOT for parklets, authorize sale of impound and junk vehicle surplus.
The regular agenda includes one item, a resolution to approve the City of Crookston Tobacco-Free Policy.
