CROOKSTON POLICE RESPOND TO TWO ACCIDENTS MONDAY, ONE OVER WEEKEND

The Crookston Police Department responded to the report of an accident Monday at 3:38 p.m. on E. Arrest/Fire Report – Tuesday, April 9, 2019

Fire Calls: The Crookston Fire Department was called to Fisher Avenue near the Crookston Sports Center at 7:32 Monday morning for a submerged vehicle in the ditch. Everyone had gotten out of the vehicle safely, fire crews assisted with the investigation, clean-up, and traffic control; the vehicle was removed from the ditch and towed away.

TEACHERS ADVOCATE FOR CROOKSTON SCHOOLS AT THE CAPITAL

Crookston teachers Kim Davidson, Laurie Wavra, and Jayne Nesvig spent a day lobbying in St. Paul with other teachers from northwestern Minnesota.  They met with Representative Kiel, Senator Johnson, and Governor Walz to advocate for Crookston students, teachers and the district as a whole.
