On Monday, February 17, at approximately 8:27 a.m., the Polk County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a barn fire at 41334 240th Ave SE rural Winger. Stephen R. Caillier, age 97 of Crookston, MN, passed away peacefully at Villa St. Vincent on Saturday, February 15, 2025. Steve was born May 15, 1927, in Crookston, MN. He grew up on the family farm near Gentilly, MN one of 13 children, and was baptized and confirmed at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Gentilly.
