The Northwest Regional Corrections Center in Crookston reported the arrest of the following –  Marcus Tarrell Washington, 20, for Assault in the second degree, Assault with a dangerous weapon. John William Brenton II, 34, for Receiving Stolen Property.

Matthew Daniel Proulx – OBIT

Matthew Daniel Proulx, 56, of Red Lake Falls, MN (formerly Houston, TX), passed away on April 1, 2024, with his daughter Megan and ex-wife, Donna, by his side. He succumbed to death in the hospital after a year-long battle with pancreatic cancer. He fought his cancer battle with faith and strength and will be deeply missed
