Allen S. Thronson, 97, Ada, MN, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 22, 2024 at Benedictine Care Community in Ada. Allen was born May 24, 1926, in Strand Township near Gary, MN. Due to weather and safe field conditions, Crookston Spring Soccer will now start on Monday, May 6 (instead of Wednesday, May 1). The new Location is the UMC Widseth Field (painted for soccer) due to construction at Crookston High School. An email with information has been sent to participants.
The city of Crookston is moving forward with updating its campsite at Crookston Central Park Campgrounds.
