The annual Polk County Museum Pioneer Day event will occur on Sunday, September 10. The event will start at 11:00 a.m. and finish at 5:00 p.m., with the event opening with lunch being served, including pie. The 18th annual Sugar Beat Museum Harvest will occur on Sunday, September 10, from 10:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This event started in 2004 and has run every year since 2020, which was canceled due to the pandemic. Those in attendance can expect to see demonstrations of vintage equipment harvesting sugar beats and additional events.
