BENEDICTINE LIVING COMMUNITY IN CROOKSTON IS TAKING PART IN NATIONAL SKILLED NURSING CARE WEEK

The Benedictine Living Community in Crookston is excited to participate in National Skilled Nursing Care Week (NSNCW) from May 8-14.

The NSNCW 2022 theme, “Creating and Nurturing Connections,” will celebrate skilled nursing centers and their residents and staff. Established as an annual, week-long observance by the American Health Care Association (AHCA) in 1967, NSNCW provides an opportunity to recognize the essential role of skilled nursing care centers in caring for America’s elders and individuals with disabilities.

This year, Benedictine Living Community has planned the following NSNCW events

To name a few events, they have planned:

  • Tea with the auxiliary & friends
  • Just for Kix dancers will be here to perform for the residents.
  • Andy Hall of Sweet Light Gallery Crookston. Who will be setting up his photography in our chapel for all within our facility.
  • Amanda Bochow of Healing Hands Therapeutic Massage and Body Work. Who will be offering hand massages to our residents.
  • Hannah, their Cello player, will be here a few times playing classical music for the residents.
  • The Catholic school kindergarten class will be here visiting the Memory Care.
  • Live music with Heather Larson
