BLIZZARD WARNING ISSUED FROM 7:00 PM WEDNESDAY TO FRIDAY AT 1:00 AM

Crookston and the KROX listening area along with portions of northwest Minnesota and northeast North Dakota are in a Blizzard Warning from 7:00 p.m. Wednesday to 1:00 a.m. on Friday.
Blizzard conditions expected. Total snow accumulations of 6 to 12 inches, with higher amounts up 18 inches possible. Winds gusting as high as 55 mph.

Travel will be dangerous to impossible. Widespread blowing snow will significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions will impact the morning and evening commute. Strong winds could cause extensive damage to trees and power lines.

A Blizzard Warning means severe winter weather conditions are expected or occurring. Falling and blowing snow with strong winds and poor visibilities are likely. This will lead to whiteout conditions, making travel extremely dangerous. Do not travel. If you must travel, have a winter survival kit with you. If you get stranded, stay with your vehicle.
