BOLL AND AAMOTH HELP LEAD FOSSTON/BAGLEY/CROOKSTON GIRLS SWIMMERS TO A DUAL VICTORY

The Fosston/Bagley/Crookston Seal swim team beat the Roseau/Warroad coop 58-35 dual in Fosston.  Mackenzie Aamoth and Chloe Boll were each a part of two first-place relay teams and Boll had two more first places, while Aamoth added one more as the two swimmers combined for seven first-place finishes at the dual.  

Crookston has a few swimmers on the team and the results are below – 

Crookston made up half of the first place 200-Yard Medley Relay team with Mackenzie Aamoth and Chloe Boll swimming on the team that finished with a time of 2:19.28 and earned six team points. 

The third-place Fosston/Bagley/Crookston team also had a third-place finish in the race with Evie Gunderson on the team that finished with a time of 2:34.22. 

Boll won the 50-Yard Freestyle with a time of 28.38, which was over two seconds better than the next swimmer. She also finished first in the 100-Yard Freestyle race with a time of 1:05.72.  Boll finished her perfect day with her fourth first-place finish as part of the 200-Yard Freestyle Relay.  Boll was solely responsible for 8 points and partially responsible for 12 more for a total of 20 team points on the day. 

Aamoth had a great swim in the 100-Backstroke to finish first, almost nine seconds faster than the runner-up with a time of 1:19.40. She also was a part of the first place 400-Yard Freestyle Relay team that finished with a time of 4:40.11.  Aamoth also finished third place in the 200 Yard Freestyle with a time of 2:41.65.

Gunderson had a third-place finish in the 200-Yard IM race with a time of 3:17.51.  Gunderson finished third in the 100-Yard Butterfly with a time of 1:35.31.  

Fosston/Bagley/Crookston will travel to Perham on Thursday.
