BOLL GETS THE 2ND SEED, BROWN THE 6TH SEED FOR STATE WRESTLING

The Minnesota State High School League Minnesota State Individual Wrestling seeds have been announced and Crookston Ethan Boll received the second seed at 195 pounds and Zach Brown received the sixth seed at 120-pounds.

Zach Brown was 33-3 on the year and will take on Ryan Jensen of Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa. Jensen, a freshman, is 31-4 on the year. The second seed is Marshall Larson (35-1) of Aitkin, who beat Brown in the state prelim championship and the two could meet again if they both win or lose in the first round.

Ethan Boll was 34-2 on the year and will wrestle Carter Quam of Kenyon-Wanamingo. Quam was 27-3 on the year. The top seed at 195 pounds is Thomas Dineen who gave Boll one of his two losses on the year.

Brown and Boll will wrestle on Saturday, March 27 starting at 2:00 p.m. at St. Michael-Albertville High School.
