CATCH A RIDE ON T.H.E. BUS TO SEE THE CANADIAN PACIFIC HOLIDAY TRAIN

Tri-Valley Transportation will provide bus transportation to the Canadian Pacific Holiday Train across Northwest Minnesota on Thursday, December 15. The train raises money, food, and awareness for local food banks in communities along the Canadian Pacific network.

The Holiday train will make stops in Mahnomen at 4:20 p.m., Plummer at 6:00 p.m., and Thief River Falls at 7:30 p.m. with live music by performers Alan Doyle and Kelly Prescott.

For the 4:20 p.m. show in Mahnomen, The B.U.S. will pick up in Ada at 3:00 p.m., Twin Valley at 3:30 p.m., and Mahnomen at 4:00 p.m. For the 6:00 p.m. show in Plummer, pick-up will be in East Grand Forks at 3:50 p.m., Crookston and Bagley at 4:20 p.m., Fosston at 4:50 p.m. Red Lake Falls at 5:10 p.m., Erskine at 5:30 p.m., and Plummer at 5:40 p.m. For the 7:30 p.m. show in Thief River Falls, pick-up in Karlstad at 5:45 p.m., Strandquist at 6:00 p.m., Newfolden at 6:20 p.m., and Thief River Falls at 6:50 p.m.

The cost for the bus is $2 round-trip for riders in Mahnomen, Plummer, and Thief River Falls and $5 round-trip for riders from the other locations. Reserve your ride by Wednesday, December 14, at noon by calling 800-201-3432.

The Holiday Train shows are free to attend, but Canadian Pacific asks attendees to bring a cash or nonperishable food donation if they’re able. Local food shelves will set up collection stations at each event, with all donations made staying with the local food bank to help people in need in the community. Because local food shelves buy food at a discount, cash donations can go further than food donations to help those in need.
