CROOKSTON CITY COUNCIL MEMBER JOE KRESL ANNOUNCES RESIGNATION

RED RIVER TO CREST OVER MINOR FLOOD STAGE

The Polk County Sheriff’s Office is advising residents with the amount of rain that we have received, the Red River is forecasted to crest over minor flood stages during this week. This may impact access to the lower trails along the river. Be careful around the river during this time, as it is usually closed

ARREST/FIRE REPORT – MAY 28, 2024

The Northwest Regional Corrections Center reported the arrest of the following – Jaydan Max Hamernik,18, of Twin Valley, for DUI in the fourth-degree driving while impaired. Shaun Alexander Rosewaren, 42, of Twin Valley, for DUI in the fourth-degree driving while impaired. Emiliano Casimiro Jasso Sr, 24, of Crookston, for Domestic Assault.

2024 CROOKSTON VETERAN’S COUNCIL MEMORIAL DAY PICTURE GALLERY

The Crookston Veteran’s Council (American Legion Post 20 and Auxiliary, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1902 and Auxiliary, Disabled American Veterans Chapter 14 and Auxiliary, and the Beyond the Yellow Ribbon Committee) hosted its annual Memorial Day Services on Monday, May 27.  Services were at Hafslo Lutheran Church Cemetery and St. Peter’s Catholic Church Cemetery
