The Crookston Fourth-grade Girls basketball team finished third place at the Thief River Falls tournament on Saturday. Crookston beat the Northern Freeze 19-18 in overtime, lost to Bemidji 20-8, and beat Thief River Falls 27-17. Crookston is now 12-2 on the year. Crookston’s Carter Coauette advanced to the Minnesota State High School League Individual State Wrestling tournament after winning the Section 8A Championship on Saturday.
