CENTRAL BOILER COMPANIES DISTRIBUTE OVER $1 MILLION IN BONUSES

Central Boiler Companies (which includes subsidiaries Central Boiler, Altoz, and WoodMaster) celebrated the 31st consecutive year of employee bonus distribution on November 2 at their Greenbush facility.  The bonus, along with the company’s contributions to the employee 401K accounts, totaled $1,178,075.35.  This amount is in addition to any commissions, weekly 401K matches, hiring bonuses or performance bonuses that were distributed throughout the year. Additionally, at bonus, the company matched 100% of the first 15% of the contributions employees made to their 401K accounts from their bonuses.

“Central Boiler Companies has witnessed remarkable growth in recent years and this past year we have welcomed many new employees,” said Terri Brazier, Owner.  “Our family culture is strong, and we are proud of the longevity of our team.  Currently, over 35% of our employees have been with us for over a decade. That’s impressive when compared to the national average – which is only about 4 years.”

Jarod Reierson, Human Resources Manager, shared benefit information.  “We are proud to announce that weekly employee premium costs for health insurance are going to remain the same for 2024, which will be the seventh year in a row,” said Reierson.

Altoz continues to expand its product offerings in the outdoor power equipment industry.  Newly released in 2023, was the Deck Wing Extension for the TRX tracked zero-turn mower, which immediately caught the industry’s attention and won multiple awards.  “The Altoz Switch compact tool carrier continues to win awards and recently was awarded the Green Industry Pro Editor’s Choice Award, stated Dennis Brazier, CEO.  “And with the completion of the 75,000-square-foot state-of-the-art production facility in Red Lake Falls, and innovative new product offerings, Altoz anticipates significant growth in the future.”

This is the tenth consecutive year that Central Boiler Companies’ Greenbush location has been MNSHARP certified, one of few other companies in Minnesota to achieve this status. MNSHARP recognizes companies whose managers and employees work together to develop safety and health programs that go beyond basic compliance with all applicable OSHA standards, and that result in immediate and long-term prevention of job-related injuries and illnesses. Over the past four years, the company’s recordable injury rate has been 68.5%  below the national average. The company is also taking steps to certify the Red Lake Falls, MN facility as well.
