CHS WELDING STUDENTS VISIT DEE MANUFACTURING IN CROOKSTON

On Thursday, March 14, Crookston High School’s Welding classes visited DEE Manufacturing in Crookston. This tour consisted of a short video of some of the things that DEE does in their facility, a short verbal presentation from Bill Maki of how a raw product turns into a finished product for a customer and what opportunities exist, and the benefits at DEE from Heather Wang. After the presentation, the students broke into groups and toured the Foundry side and Machine Shop.

The tour lasted about 90 minutes, and DEE is creating some pretty complex parts for its customers.

Mr. Oliver and the students would like to thank DEE Manufacturing and the following tour guides: Jeff Dufault, Bill Maki, Paul Cwikla, Tyler Bergh, and Dan Kawlewski. Also, thanks to Heather Wang for helping to set up the tour.
