CROOKSTON CITY COUNCIL TO DISCUSS THE FOOD TRUCK ORDINANCE MONDAY NIGHT

The Crookston City Council will meet on Monday night at 7:00 p.m. inside the City Hall Council Chambers.

The Council will first hear a presentation from Bob Herkenhoff on a donation.

The Consent Agenda will include the approval of the proposed City Council Minutes from their meeting on June 27 and the approval of the City of Crookston Bills and Disbursements in the amount of $414,082.52. The Consent Agenda will also include the approval of the Crookston Housing and Economic Development Authority (CHEDA) Meeting Agenda for Tuesday, July 12. The Agenda will also include resolutions to receive donations from Brost Chevrolet for Crookston Youth Sports and from the American Crystal Sugar Company for the Crookston Fire Department.
The agenda will also include approving a Dance permit and the dispensing of intoxicating liquor for the Downtown Crookston Development Partnership Event that is happening on Tuesday, July 19. The final items on the Consent Agenda include a resolution to declare police impound vehicles as surplus property and to receive a donation from Walmart for the Crookston Police Department’s Night to Unite event.

The Regular Agenda will include a resolution to approve Charles “Corky” Reynolds as the City Attorney and as an employee of the City of Crookston, as well as to approve a lease to American Tower/Verizon Wireless.
The final item on the Agenda is to further discuss the Food Truck Ordinance along with any changes to it.

The Crookston Ways & Means Committee will meet after the City Council meeting to discuss the budget for the Crookston Public Library, Fire Department/Emergency Management, and the Police Department.

The next City Council meeting will take place on Monday, July 25, at 7:00 p.m. inside the City Hall Council Chambers.
