CROOKSTON CITY COUNCIL TO MEET MONDAY NIGHT

Crookston City Council

The Crookston City Council will meet on Monday night at 7:00 p.m. inside the City Hall Council Chambers.

The Council will begin with the swearing-in of Police Officer Mitchel Tenneson.

The Consent Agenda will include the approval of the proposed City Council Minutes from their meeting on April 11 and the approval of the City of Crookston Bills and Disbursements in the amount of $241,514.38. It will also include a resolution to approve 2022 License Renewals for Walmart Fireworks and Gas Fitting and Cement Mason and to accept a donation with respect to Karen Arel for Park Benches.

The Regular Agenda will include a resolution approving the sale for Tax Forfeited Non-Conservation Land property on Ingersoll Ave. as all as an amendment with the University of Minnesota with respects to the Occupancy at Valley Technology Park. The Regular Agenda will also include a resolution to approve a Lawful Gambling Premise Permit for the Crookston Firefighters Association at the Minakwa Golf Course. It will then call for a Public Hearing for Dee Manufacturing, LLC Expansion to sponsor assistance in the form of a forgivable loan using dollars sourced from the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED) through its Minnesota Investment Fund (MIF) Program. The final item on the Regular Agenda will be a resolution regarding the support of a Job Creation Fund Application in Connection with Dee Manufacturing LLC.

The next City Council meeting will take place on Monday, May 9, at 7:00 p.m. inside the City Hall Council Chambers.
