CROOKSTON CITY COUNCIL WILL MEET MONDAY TO HOLD PUBLIC HEARING ON MIF PROGRAM AND FINALIZE CITY ADMINISTRATOR INTERVIEW SCHEDULE

Crookston City Council

The Crookston City Council will meet on Monday night at 7:00 p.m. inside the City Hall Council Chambers.

The meeting will begin with a Proclamation from the Benedictine Living Community and RiverView Memory Care about the upcoming National Skilled Nursing Care Week, which will begin on Sunday, May 8, and go until Saturday, May 14.

The Consent Agenda will include the approval of the proposed City Council Minutes for their Emergency meeting on Saturday, April 23, and their regularly scheduled meeting on Monday, April 25. It will also include the approval of the City of Crookston Bills and Disbursements in the amount of $446,407.63. The last items on the Consent Agenda will be to approve the Agendas of the Crookston Housing & Economic Development Authority’s Regular Meeting on Tuesday, May 17, and their Special Meeting on Tuesday, May 31.

The Council will then open a Public Hearing to consider a grant application to the Minnesota Investment Fund (MIF) Program.

The Regular Agenda will include a resolution supporting Dee, Inc.’s Expansions Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED), Minnesota Investment Fund Incentive (MIF) Program. The Regular Agenda will also include resolutions for a Tax Forfeited Property on Ingersoll Avenue, approving support on behalf of Libraries across Minnesota regarding the Capital Project Fund, and approving a Master Partnership Contract with the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT). The final item on the Regular Agenda will be to discuss the schedule for the final City Administrator Interviews.

The next City Council meeting will take place on Monday, May 23, at 7:00 p.m. inside the City Hall Council Chambers.
