CROOKSTON CITY COUNCIL WILL MEET ON MONDAY AND PRESENT TRUTH IN TAXATION FOR 2024

The Crookston City Council will meet on Monday, December 11, at 6:00 p.m. in the City Hall council chambers.

The meeting will begin with the Truth in Taxation presentation and information, with a public hearing to follow.

The agenda for the council meeting will include the resolution regarding Baker Tilly performing the City Administrator search for the city of Crookston. It will also have the resolutions regarding the approval of the public purchase expenditure policy and allowing fire services outside the city limits of Crookston for the American Crystal Sugar Company. The last item on the agenda will be the resolution regarding a Federal Emergency Agency (FEMA) hazard mitigation grant program application for the property located at 429 Riverside Avenue.

The consent agenda will include the approval of minutes from the November 27 council meeting. It will also include the approval of bills and disbursements in the amount of $477,905.36.

The Ways and Means Committee will meet following the council and will further discuss the budget heading into 2024.
