The Crookston City Council will meet on Monday night at 7:00 p.m. inside the City Hall Council Chambers.
The meeting will begin with the swearing-in of new police officer Cody Peterson.
The Consent Agenda will include the approval of the City Council minutes from their meeting on October 24 and their special meeting on November 3. It will also include approving the City of Crookston Bills and Disbursements in the amount of $651,769.12 and approving the Crookston Housing and Economic Development Authority (CHEDA) agendas for their meetings on Wednesday, November 16, and Monday, November 28.
The agenda includes a resolution canvassing the tabulation of votes cast for the Mayor and four council member positions and declaring the results from the General Election on November 8.
The final items on the Consent Agenda will be to approve the City of Crookston non waiving the monetary limits of Municipal Tort Liability established by Minnesota Statues Section 466.04 and to approve partial payment estimate No 3 for the final 2022 Street Improvement.
The meeting will then have a Public Hearing regarding amending the City Code Chapter 117 entitled “Peddlers and Solicitors.”
The Regular Agenda will include a resolution regarding a Snow Loading of Portion of MnDOT Trunk Highway 2 within the city limits of Crookston. It will also include a resolution to approve a Rehabilitation Loan Program and Montague’s satisfaction on the property owned by William R. and Carol E. Montague with respect to document #A000542048.
The final items on the agenda include a resolution to appoint Karie Kirschbaum as the City of Crookston Representative to the Polk County Affordable Housing Advisory Board and to adopt the updated Fee Schedule for 2023.
The next City Council meeting will take place on Monday, November 28, at 7:00 p.m. inside the City Hall Council Chambers.
