Coming up on Wednesday, December 18, The Crookston Figure Skating Club will be having an Exhibition at the Crookston Sports Center from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. “Next Wednesday, December 18, we have our Club Exhibition, it is for all of our skaters, our youngest skaters in Basic 1, all the way through our older skaters in High Free Skate.” Crookston Figure Skating Club Director Katie Morgan says this is a chance for the skaters to perform before competitions and the March Ice Show. “It’s the opportunity to perform their routines,” says Morgan. “ We will also have our Syncro teams perform; we have three Syncro teams.”
Admission to the Club Exhibition is Free Will Donation. Morgan says there will be solos, duets, trios, and small groups. “We allow any skaters to participate in this, and a lot of our skaters that are participating are competing locally, so they will get a chance to perform in front of an audience before they do their upcoming competition,” says Morgan. “It’s out at the Crookston Sports Center, we will start about 6:00 p.m.”
Morgan says the Ice Show is scheduled for Saturday, March 8, at 6:00 p.m. at Sunday, March 9, at 2:00 p.m.
