The Crookston Area Community Fund is excited to announce two generous donations to community projects that support an active lifestyle for all ages. The Rydell Auto Group donated $7500 to the Crookston Sports Center Fund, locally known as the Arena Legacy Fund.
The funds will support increased participation by the community. CSC is a multi-purpose facility for youth and adults of all ages to participate in many activities, including sports, shows, gatherings, and more.
Rydell Toyota donated $2000 to support pickleball in our community. Pickleball is the fastest-growing activity in our region. The funds will be used to purchase up-to-date equipment and assist in the resurfacing and repairs of the courts at Schuster Park. These improvements will support the increased use of this park.
The Crookston Area Community Fund is a component fund of the Northwest Minnesota Foundation. CACF supports charitable, educational, and public-purpose projects that enhance or improve the quality of life for residents and/or visitors of the Crookston area. Crookston Area Community Fund accepts donations year-round via mail or online.
