CROOKSTON GIRL’S GOLF TAKES FOURTH PLACE AT BEMIDJI

The Crookston Pirate Girl’s Golf team finished in fourth place with a combined score of 341 in their first tournament of the year at the Bemidji Invitational played at the Bemidji Town and Country Club. Bemidji won the tournament with a team score of 341, three strokes ahead of Brainerd. Taylor Offerdahl from Bemidji was the medalist after carding a 77.

Catherine Tiedemann led the way for Crookston turning in a 90. Dani Boyle carded a 92 in her first round of the year. Joslynn Leach matched Boyle with a 92 for the Pirates. Hannah Street turned in an even 100 for Crookston as the team’s fourth-best scorer. Sophia Rezac rounded out the Pirates top five with a 109. Bailey Cameron concluded her first round of the season with a 114 concluding the day.

The Pirates return to the course on Tuesday when Crookston is slated to host its own Invitational at Minakwa Golf Couse starting at 9:30 a.m.
