Crookston Girls Golf wins the Park Rapids Invite

The Crookston Pirate Girls Golf team shot a 358 and won the Park Rapids Invitational at the Headwaters Golf Course in Park Rapids by 26 strokes over Perham. 16 teams competed in the tournament.

CROOKSTON –
Addie Fee, a senior, shot an 87. She carded six pars, nine bogies, and three double bogies to finish tied for seventh place.
Emelia Hoerner, a junior, shot an 88. She recorded six pars, 10 bogies, one double bogey, and one quadruple bogey to finish in ninth place.
Halle Nicholas, a junior, shot a 91. She turned in five pars, eight bogies, four double bogies, and one triple bogey to finish 14th place.
Ava Martin, a junior, shot a 92. She carded four pars, eight bogies, and six double bogies to finish 17th place.
Georgia Sanders, a senior, shot a 96. She recorded two pars, 10 bogies, four double bogies, and two triple bogies to finish 21st place.
Kaylie Clauson, a senior, shot 100. She turned in three pars, six bogies, seven double bogies, two triple bogies, and one quadruple bogey to finish 26th place.
There were 89 golfers competing.

Crookston will head to the Bemidji Town and Country Club on Wednesday to play in a tri-angular.
