The Crookston Pirate Girls Golf team had two teams playing in the Thief River Falls Invitational at Thief River Falls Golf Course and Crookston 1 finished first place with the top four golfers finishing first through fourth place overall, and Crookston 2 finished fourth place out of six teams. Crookston 1 won the meet by 22 strokes over East Grand Forks. Crookston’s Addie Fee was the medalist with a 43, three strokes better than her teammate Emelia Hoerner.
CROOKSTON 1 –
Addie Fee, a senior, shot a 43. She carded two pars and seven bogies and finished first place overall.
Emelia Hoerner, a junior, shot 46. She recorded three pars, four bogies, a double bogey and a quadruple bogey to finish second place overall.
Kaylie Clauson, a senior, shot 47. She turned in three pars, three bogies, one double bogey, and two triple bogies to finish third place overall.
Halle Nicholas, a junior, shot 48. She had three pars, two bogies, two double bogies, two triple bogies to finish fourth place overall.
Ava Martin, a junior, shot 51. She carded one par, two bogies, five double bogies, and one triple bogey and finished tied for sixth place overall.
Georgia Sanders, a senior, shot a 57. She recorded three bogies, two double bogies, three triple bogies, and a nine on a par four to finish 16th overall.
CROOKSTON 2 –
Emma LaPlante, a junior, shot a 53. She turned in one par, two bogies, three double bogies, and three triple bogies to finish 11th place.
Taylor Wieland, a junior, shot a 55. She had three bogies, three double bogies, two triple bogies, and one quadruple bogey to finish 15th place.
Madelyn Anderson, a junior, shot a 58. She had one par, two bogies, one double bogey, four triple bogies, and a 10 on a par four to finish 17th place.
Lucy Smith, a junior, shot a 60. She carded one par, three double bogies, two triple bogies, and three quadruple bogies to finish 19th place.
Taylor Schulz, a junior, shot a 62. She turned in five double bogies, two triple bogies, and two five over par holes to finish 23rd place.
Logan Brekken, a junior, shot a 70. She had two double bogies, two triple bogies, one quadruple bogey, and four five over pars to finish 32nd place.
