CROOKSTON HIGH SCHOOL CELEBRATES PEPFEST LEADING UP TO THE HOMECOMING FOOTBALL GAME

Earlier this afternoon, Crookston High School celebrated its annual Pepfest inside the High School gymnasium. After a brief introduction from Health Teacher Josh Hardy, the Crookston Cheer Team was introduced to lead the Crookston Rouser.

The 2023 Homecoming Court was then introduced. The Homecoming Court this year included-

The king’s court- Carter Trudeau, Jackson Reese, Brannon Tanquist, Isaac Thomforde, and Carter Coauette.

The queen’s court- Coral Brekken, Morgan Nelson, Brekken Tull, Isabelle Smith, and Halle Winjum.

This year’s King and Queen were Isaac Thomfrode and Halle Winjum.

The Crookston Volleyball, Girls’ Tennis, women’s and men’s soccer, and Football Teams participated in a talent show where the girl’s soccer team performed a scene from the Lorax, the Volleyball team performed a scene from Pitch Perfect, and the football and soccer faced off in a relay race won by the football team.

The volleyball team was announced as the entertainment competition champions following Activities Director Nate Lubarski’s introduction to all Fall Senior athletes.

Homecoming week will conclude tonight with the Pirates football team hosting Warroad High School at 6:00 p.m., followed by the homecoming dance at 9:00 p.m. with the Undertakers.
