CROOKSTON HIGH SCHOOL INDUSTRIAL TECH STUDENTS CREATE A FIRE TABLE FOR A RAFFLE

Crookston High School Industrial Tech students in Mr. Travis Oliver’s class have created a Fire Table for the Pirate Pride Golf Scramble.

Lucas Hall, Keaton Oakes, Tim Brule, Carter Coauette, and Mathew Owens were the students who worked on the table.

The students measured, cut, and welded the metal frame together. They designed and made the composite board top. They also painted the frame and associated parts, completed the axle for the wheels, and designed a handle on the opposite end to make it easier to move around. The table is made from steel and stands at roughly bar height (42″). “The students did a great job, and I am proud of the result,” said Mr. Oliver. “The logos were cut at the high school on the CNC Plasma cutter and attached to the table.”

The table was made possible by contributions from local businesses: Crookston Building Center, Dee Manufacturing, Eickhof Columbaria, and Kjad Productions (Bo Brorby created a video that will be shared on social media sources.)
