The Crookston High School Speech team competed at the 54th Annual Chuck Beckman Speech Tournament in Walker on Saturday. There were 31 schools competing with over 300 participants.
Meliyah Moore was the Champion in the Extemp Reading category
Zac Plante finished fourth place honors finalist in Humorous Interpretation.
Also competing for Crookston were Shayla Azure, Nashelle Tellez, John Lisov, Arley Sinks, and Lily Olmstead.
Crookston High School will host a competition on Saturday.
