CROOKSTON HIGH SCHOOL SPEECH TEAM PLACES 5TH OUT OF 21 TEAMS AT PERHAM TOURNAMENT

The Crookston High School Speech Team had another strong showing as the results from the March 16 Perham meet show.  Crookston placed 5th out of the 21 teams and 183 participants.  There were three preliminary rounds and a final in each event.

Results:

  • Victoria Proulx — 2ndPlace medal in Storytelling and 5th place medal in Dramatic Interpretation
  • Emily Gillette 3rdplace medal in Original Oratory
  • Georgie French — 4thplace medal in Humorous Interpretation and 5th place medal in Great Speeches
  • Linnea French — 5thplace medal in Humorous Interpretation; 5th place medal in Storytelling
  • Ben Brantner — Red Ribbon in Extemporaneous Speaking; Ben also participated in Discussion
  • Zara Baig — Red Ribbon in Humorous Interpretation
  • Emma Sherman — Red Ribbon in Informative Speaking
  • Ed Luckow — Red Ribbon in Informative Speaking
  • Isaac Wandrie participated in Original Oratory
  • Elizabeth Helgeson participated in Humorous Interpretation

The Team performs at Red Lake County Central this weekend in the Sub-section event.
