Crookston High School will have graduation for the Class of 2020 on Saturday at 2 p.m. in the High School Gym.
Crookston High School Principal Eric Bubna said each student is allowed two guests for social distancing. “We’ve got a socially distanced graduation,” said Bubna. “Each of the graduates will be able to have two guests come, so they weren’t sent tickets in advance through the mail. We have rehearsal Friday at 9 a.m., and graduation at 2 p.m. on Saturday. Obviously, not exactly the way we normally run it, but we were pleased and grateful we were able to get something that was in person.”
H&B Sound will provide not only the audio for the ceremony but will produce a livestream as well. “H&B Sound is typically here to help us with the sound,” said Bubna. “We also hired them to do a good high-quality livestream and sent that email to the senior parents, faculty, and to the community through the media. Trying to accommodate that fact that not everybody can be here and there’s aunts, uncles, brothers, and sisters that want to watch it as well, so that will be available.”
