CROOKSTON LEGION BASEBALL FALLS TO GRAFTON IN CENTRAL CASS TOURNAMENT FINALS

The Crookston American Legion Post #20 Baseball loses to Grafton in the final round of the Central Cass Tournament in Casselton by a score of 2-0.

FIRST INNING
Crookston began the inning with a lead-off single from Lucas Miller. The next two Crookston batters were retired before Miller was caught stealing second base for the third out.
Grafton’s batters were retired in 1-2-3 fashion.

SECOND INNING
Crookston’s batters were retired in 1-2-3 fashion.
Grafton’s first two batters were retired before Jake Warnke singled. The next batter was retired, ending the inning.

THIRD INNING
The first two Crookston batters were retired before Parker Kelly singled. The next batter was retired for the third out.
Grafton’s batters were retired in 1-2-3 fashion.

FOURTH INNING
Crookston’s and Grafton’s batters were retired in 1-2-3 fashion.

FIFTH INNING
Crookston’s and Grafton’s batters were retired in 1-2-3 fashion.

SIXTH INNING
Crookston began the inning with a lead-off walk from Teagen Lubinski and a single from Parker Kelly. The next three Crookston batters were retired, ending the threat.
The first Grafton batter was retired before a pitch hit both Chance Burns and Kruiser Burns. The next batter grounded out at first, advancing the runners to second and third. Tony Villarreal was intentional walked to load the bases before Kyler Droog reached on an error, scoring two runs. The next batter was retired, ending the inning with Grafton taking the lead 2-0.

SEVENTH INNING
Crookston began the inning with a lead-off single from Tanner Giese. The next two batters were retired before Nate Kelly reached on an error to put runners on first and second. The next Crookston batter was retired ending the game with Grafton winning 2-0.
