Crookston Pirate Boys Golf compet in Bemidji Invite

The Crookston Pirate Boys Golf team shot a 369 and finished 14th out of 16 teams at the Bemidji Invitational at the Bemidji Town and Country Club on the north shore of Lake Bemidji. Bemidji won the meet with a 302, eight strokes better than Staples-Motley. Crookston was led by Garrett Fischer with a 75, which was fifth place overall.

Garrett Fischer shot a 75. The junior carded an impressive five birdies and six pars. He also had five bogies, and one triple bogey to finish fifth place overall.
Tate Hamre shot an 87. The junior recorded seven pars, eight bogies, two double bogies and one triple bogey to finish tied for 57th place.
Evan Shockman shot an 87. The junior turned in two birdies, seven pars, three bogies, five double bogies, and one quadruple bogey to finish tied for 57th place.
Colin Trudeau shot a 120. The freshman had one par, four bogies, three double bogies, four triple bogies, four quadruple bogies, and two five over par holes to finish 89th place.

Crookston will travel back to Bemidji for the Section 8 preview meet on Wednesday.
