The Crookston Pirate Boys Golf team finished fifth place out of five teams at East Grand Forks Invitational at the Grand Forks Country Club. Crookston shot a 350, while East Grand Forks won the meet with a 303, 10 strokes better than Roseau.
The medalist was East Grand Forks’ Brody Johnson with a one over par 73. Crookston was led by Evan Shockman with an 83.
Evan Shockman, a senior, shot an 83 for 16th place. Evan carded one birdie, six pars, 10 bogies, and one double bogey.
Kelby Fee, a seventh grader, shot an 87 and finished in 25th place. Kelby recorded one birdie, four pars, 11 bogies, one double bogey and one triple bogey.
Tony Elbinger, a senior, shot an 88 to finish 26th place. Tony had five pars, 10 bogies, and three double bogies.
Garrett Fisher, a senior, shot a 92 to finish 28th place. Garrett had one birdie, four pars, nine bogies, two double bogies, and two quadruple bogies.
David Dauksavage, a senior, shot a 94 and finished 29th place. David had six pars, five bogies, four double bogies, three double bogies.
Harrison Cameron, an eighth grader, shot a 96 to finish 30th place. Harrison carded three pars, eight bogies, five double bogies, and two double bogies.
Colin Trudeau, a sophomore, shot a 115 and finished 32nd place. Colin had two pars, three bogies, five double bogies, four triple bogies, two quadruple bogies, and two five over pars.
