The Crookston Pirate Boys Golf team finished fifth place out of five teams at the East Grand Forks Invitational at the Grand Forks Golf Club on a rainy and cold day. Crookston shot a 366 while East Grand Forks won the meet with a 322. Co-Medalists were EGF’s Chase Useldinger and Jake Chupka, along with Roseau’s Cade Ginther, with 79’s.
Garrett Fisher, a junior, shot an 84. He recorded two birdies, five pars, eight bogies, and three double bogies to finish tied for 11th place.
Tate Hamre, a junior, shot an 84. He carded seven pars, 10 bogies, and one double bogey to finish tied for 11th.
Evan Shockman, a junior, shot a 97. He turned in two pars, seven bogies, seven double bogies, and a quadruple bogey to finish 26th place.
David Dauksavage, a junior, shot a 101. He recorded one par, eight bogies, six double bogies, and three triple bogies to finish 27th place.
Collin Trudeau, a freshman, shot a 110. He turned in five bogies, seven double bogies, five triple bogies, and one quadruple bogey to finish 28th place.
Crookston will host the Crookston Invitational on Thursday at Minakwa Golf Course in Crookston.
