The Crookston Pirate Dance team competed in Detroit Lakes on Saturday and finished 9th in jazz and 11th in kick. The competition had more teams than usual and some bigger schools. “This was double the size of our usual competitions adding in teams from AA as well,” said Crookston Coach Grace Espinosa. “When you break it down into just our section, we took 6th in jazz and 8th in kick! It was nice to see how we measure up with the AA teams.”
Crookston will compete in Frazee on Friday and they will have a non-competitive performance in Blackduck on Saturday.
