The Crookston Pirate Girls Hockey Coach, Emily Meyer, is looking for Pirate Hockey alumni and fans to send videos of encouragement and good luck to her so she can put a video together to show the players before the Section 8A Girls Hockey Championship game vs #1 ranked Warroad on Thursday. It is the first time since 2010-11 that the girls have made the section championship. An email we received from Coach Meyer is below –
Hey everyone!
I need your help getting the word out to the community and Pirate alumni to make a short video (maybe 10-20 seconds) of them saying a little message to the Girls Hockey Team before we go up against Warroad on Thursday. I want the girls to see how many people in the community support them and that all it will take is them believing that they can beat them. If you could help me somehow get the word out so that I can get a video together for the girls to watch before we play I would appreciate it!
These girls can do this if they just BELIEVE!!
Hopefully, we can get something together! Thank you all so much for the support this year!
