The Crookston School Board will have a meeting on June 24 at 5:00 p.m. in the Crookston High School Choir/Orchestra Room.
The consent agenda for the meeting includes the approval of the prior meeting minutes and the approval of current bills.
RESIGNATIONS
There will also be the resignations of the following-
- Jayne Nesvig an Elementary Teacher at Highland Elementary School
- Marcelo Campoverde the Spanish Instructor at Crookston High School
- Holly Mancktelow a Paraprofessional
- Agnes Grenier a Kitchen Helper at Crookston High School
- Emma Mekkes a Paraprofessional
EMPLOYMENT APPROVAL
There will be the approval of employment for the following-
- Lori Carlson as an Orchestra Teacher
- Cayley Kruckeberg as an Elementary Teacher at Highland Elementary School
- Cara Holland as an Elementary Teacher at Highland Elementary School
DONATIONS
The School Board will accept donations from the following at the meeting-
- The Matron’s Club in the amount of $200 for the Summer Food Program
- The Minnesota Masonic Charities in the amount of $500 for the Jr/Sr. Class
- The Crookston Masonic Lodge in the amount of $500 for the Jr/Sr. Class
- The MN Masonic Charities in the amount of $2,000 for the 6th grade Itasca trip
- The Crookston Masonic Lodge in the amount of $2,000 for 6th grade Itasca trip
- The Crookston FFA Alumni in the amount of $300 for the FFA Leadership camp
- Happy Joe’s of Crookston for the Middle School Field trip
MAIN AGENDA
The main agenda includes three resolutions; one to approval to apply for the Safe Routes to School Boost Grant, one to apply for membership for MSHSL (Minnesota State High School League) in 2024-2025, and lastly a resolution relating to general obligation tax abatement. The board would also like to approve the membership to the MREA (Minnesota Rural Electrical Association) for the 2024-2025 school year and approve the adopted budget for 2024-2025.
Once again the meeting will be June 24, at 5:00 p.m. in the CHS Choir/Orchestra room. The following meeting will be July 22, at 5:00 p.m. in the same location.
