The Crookston School Board will meet on Monday, February 24 at 5:00 p.m. at the Crookston High School Choir/Orchestra room.
The feature program will be the Preschool Program with Gina Gunderson presenting.
The consent agenda includes the approval of minutes from the January 27 meeting and the approval of current bills. The consent agenda also includes the approval of employment with LaQueata Cobbs as a Paraprofessional at the high school, Brittney Deitz as a Paraprofessional at Highland, Emma Morlan as a Special Education Teacher at Highland, and employment of Wendy Ault as Payroll Specialist for the District.
The consent agenda also includes a status chance for Wanda Proulx as Highland School Assistant cook, and Suzie Larson as Washington School assistant cook.
The board will also be asked to approve a concession stand manager contract for Kayla Snyder. The board will be asked to accept the letter of retirement of elementary teacher Kim Davidson and approve the hiring of Jim McBride as the head football Coach.
The board will also be asked to approve the following donations – $13,031.44 from the June Shaver Endowment for Healthcare Scholarships, $3,899.92 for the Crookston High School Drama Club from the June Shaver Endowment, $2,860.86 for Crookston High School Scholarships from the June Shaver Trust, $400 from United Valley Bank, and $1,990 from the Minnesota State High School League Foundation.
The main agenda has one item and that is approving a memorandum of understanding with the Crookston Education Association for the READ Act.
The meeting will wrap up with reports from the administration.
