CROOKSTON SCHOOL DISTRICT BUSES PASS ANNUAL STATE INSPECTION

The Crookston School District’s buses underwent their annual state inspection from the Minnesota State Patrol on Wednesday.  Transportation Coordinator Rick Niemala said all the buses passed and are ready to start the school year.  “Bus inspectors from the State Patrol were here yesterday to inspect our school buses,” said Niemala.  “Everything went well, they all passed, so we’re set for the season.  Everything is in good shape.  Mechanically we’ve gotten everything up to speed and taken care of well, so it doesn’t take too much to keep them inspected.”

With the buses ready to go Niemala said there is still some routing to do before the first day of school in just 12 days on September 3.  “About ten days away,” said Niemala. “We’ve got some routing to do yet, but as far as the mechanical and equipment part of it we’re ready to go.”
