The Crookston School District is passing along the following Multi-Use Complex referendum voting information for district residents.
The election will take place on Tuesday, February 14, 2023 from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 1214 University Ave., Crookston, MN
Who is eligible to vote: Anyone residing within the Crookston School District boundaries. You may call me at the Crookston School District Office to check or go on the Secretary of State poll finder https://pollfinder.sos.state.mn.us/
How do I vote absentee: You can either vote Absentee in person by coming to the District Office at Crookston High School, 402 Fisher Ave. You will need a Valid Driver’s License or Social Security Card. If not previously registered, you will need to bring with you a current utility or medical bill showing proof of residency. Office hours to vote in person are 7:30 am – 4:30 pm, Monday-Friday.
If voting by mail absentee: You will need to request an Absentee Ballot Application form and complete it, and return it to Marilyn Wahouske in the District Office before receiving a ballot by mail. Once the completed form is received, Marilyn will then mail out the ballot along with the postage-paid mailing materials to mail it back via USPS. Please allow up to 7 business days to allow for delivery time when mailing.
All Absentee Ballots must be received no later than Monday, February 13, 2023 by 4:30 pm. Any ballots arriving by mail will still be accepted on Election Day, providing they are postmarked prior to February 13, 2023.
