Crookston Valley Cooperative, an agricultural business located in Crookston, Minnesota for over 40 years, is seeking to hire the following position: Custom Applicator/Maintenance – (Dry fertilizer applicator)
Job Description
*Operation of equipment in a safe and efficient manner
*Operate CVC’s dry fertilizer applicator with a high level competence
*Perform duties with a high level of customer service
*Operate equipment to correctly load and unload seed, fertilizer, and chemical
*Perform plant/equipment inspections as needed
*Help with taking inventory counts as needed
*Multitask in a high stress environment
*Comply with EPA, OSHA, and MDA laws, regulations, labels, and procedures
*Maintain excellent appearance and service of all CVC equipment and facilities
*Assist in daily housekeeping as needed
*Perform other duties as needed
Requirements
-Prior experience with fertilizer application preferred
-Must be able to operate application equipment in safe and efficient manner
-Willingness to work long hours at times
-Valid driver’s license
-CDL preferred or willingness to obtain
-Must be able to work independently and with a team
-Must be self-motivated
Wages/Benefits
Wage dependent on experience
