This past weekend there were 10 Crookston youth wrestlers that competed in the Jaycee’s State Youth Wrestling tournament in Grand Rapids.
On Friday, April 8, three of the Crookston Youth Wrestling sixth graders competed in the tournament for 5th-8th grade. Jaron Knutson walked away with third place while Mauricio Arriaga and Christopher Goodrich came home with fourth place.
On Saturday, April 9, seven youth wrestlers competed in the Pre-K through fourth grade division. How each wrestler finished is below –
1st Place:
Deeken Solheim (went 27-0 this season)
