CROOSKTON PLANNING COMMISSION WILL MEET TUESDAY

The Crookston Planning Commission will meet on Tuesday, December 17 at 7:00 p.m. in the conference room at City Hall.   The agenda includes several items for Nature View Estates, including approval for the Plat 5 – Final Plat, and discussion on vacating the current gravel street and rezoning portions of the proposed Plat 5.  The commission will also consider the land use determination for parcel 82.03751.00 located directly north of B&E Meats that the Crookston Housing and Economic Development Authority (CHEDA) is proposing to sell to Total Lawncare owned by Morgan Terpestra.  Total Lawncare is proposing a building with a shop, showroom, and offices on the location.

The commission will also discuss the existing Crookston School District Bus Garages.  The district is proposing selling the maintenance bay building, demolishing the stick-built building that is failing to sell the property, and retaining the metal-framed building for the fuel pumps and storage.  The commission is being asked to determine whether these actions are compatible with the city requirements for the usage of property in Zone C1.
