Mark Strand, DO, MS, recently joined Altru and is now caring for patients at Altru Clinic in Crookston. He treats patients with diseases and disorders of the ear, nose and throat.
“I approach patients with the same compassion and respect I would show my own family. I emphasize the importance of knowing all of the available treatment options and then help them decide which option is best for them,” states Dr. Strand.
Dr. Strand attended the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in biology. He earned his medical degree from the University of Pikeville – Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine in Pikeville, Kentucky. He completed his surgical internship at Millcreek Community Hospital in Erie, Pennsylvania. He went on to complete his Otolaryngology Residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center-Hamot in Erie, Pennsylvania. Dr. Strand has also earned his Master of Science in Medical Education from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, Pennsylvania.
