DRAFTS SPORTS BAR AND GRILL AND POLK COUNTY DAC WIN UNITED WAY OF CROOKSTON’S HOTDISH AND FLUFF SALAD COOK-OFF

The United Way of Crookston would like to thank all the participants of Monday’s Hotdish and Fluff Salad cook-off, which served nearly 350 people and raised over $1500 to kick off the 2023 United Way campaign. All proceeds will help fund more than 20 programs and agencies that serve the Crookston community.

The cook-off had a total of 13 dishes; seven hotdishes, and six fluff salads, entered by local restaurants, businesses, and agencies. The hotdish entries ran the flavor range from spicy to cheesy to savory and creamy. The salads had something for everyone, fruity, sweet, and chocolatey.

The judges voted for Drafts Sports Bar and Grill’s “Elote Totdish” as the hotdish winner and Polk County DAC’s “Oreo Cheesecake Salad”.

People’s Choice awards go to Drafts Sports Bar and Grill’s “Elote Totdish” and Bremer Bank’s “GOLDen Salad.”

The United Way wanted to thank everyone who entered, came and ate so much delicious food, and generously donated to the campaign.
