FERTILE PUBLIC LIBRARY TO HOST DREAM CATCHER WORKSHOP ON WEDNESDAY

Join artist Christy Goulet for a workshop bringing the artistry of creating dream catchers to life. Offered free of charge, the Fertile Public Library invites the community to learn about the traditions around dream catchers and the materials used to create them. Participants will be guided using traditional materials, such as willow and sinew, to create their own dream catcher.

Christy Goulet is an artist and tribally enrolled member of the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa. This program is made possible in part thanks to funding from the Minnesota Arts & Cultural Heritage Fund.

The workshop will be offered free of charge and will be held Wednesday, October 5, at 6:30 p.m. Participation is limited, and registration is required. Register by calling the library or by visiting larl.org/legacy.
