FOUR-YEAR-OLD COLLAPSES AFTER SWIMMING AT GRAND FORKS HOTEL

On Saturday, February 24 at around 12:53 p.m. officers and emergency personnel were dispatched to the Best Western Motel in regards to a possible drowning.  PSAP indicated a boy was being attended to and they didn’t know if he was breathing.  Upon arrival the boy was being attended to by relatives and bystanders staying at the motel.  The boy was awake, he was transported by ambulance to Altru Hospital.  During the investigation it was determined the boy was out of the pool when he collapsed for unknown reasons.
