Coming out of the timeout, Chloe Boll drained a three of her own to cut into the Hawks lead at 15-9. Hermantown would extend their lead, but Crookston’s Joey Nesseth had a nice drive to the basket, shaking her defender and getting her basket to fall to make it 24-13. Hermantown was still leading. Isabelle Smith hit a three with a minute to go in the half to make it 32-17, Hermantown leading, heading into the halftime break.
